IB Security Assistant/ Executive 2025: Exam Pattern

Tier-I

IB Security Assistant 2025

 

Intelligence Bureau recruitment Online Exam of Objective type MCQs, divided into 5 parts containing 20 questions of 1 mark each on:
a) General Awareness
b) Quantitative Aptitude
c) Numerical/Analytical/Logical ability and Reasoning
d) English Language
e) General Studies[Negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer]		 100 1 hr
Tier-II Written Exam (Descriptive type)
a) Translation of a passage of 500 words from local language/dialect to English and vice versa.		 50 1 hr
Tier-III Interview/Personality test 50 –
  • Note: There will be negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer. No marks would be awarded for an un-attempted question. The questions marked as “Mark for Review” by the candidates will not be considered for evaluation
